Impressions MediSpa offers pain free laser hair removal treatments for body and facial hair removal. Our Alma Harmony laser utilizes the latest pain free technology which eliminates the need for numbing cream. The latest technology of advanced tissue cooling optimizes efficacy, improves safety and provides greater comfort which provides optimal results.

Depending on the location and biology makeup, 5 – 7 treatments are recommended to achieve the desired results.


How it works:

A gentle pulse of light is emitted directly into the hair follicle, which absorbs the light energy, which destroys the follicles ability to re-grow hair. The energy is selectively absorbed only in the follicle, leaving the skin in tact. Since several follicles are being treated at once, this method is ideal for all areas of the body.
During the procedure:

The treatment will start by preparing the skin with a cool gel. Once the skin is prepped, a hand-piece will be used to scan the area being treated, emitting gentle pulses of light energy to the follicle. As the pulse occurs, you may experience a mild stinging sensation, but the discomfort will only last a second. Once treatment is complete, you can resume your normal daily activities immediately.
After each treatment:

You will notice very little change for approx 2-3 weeks. Many clients go through a virtually hair–free period at this point, which may last about 2 weeks. Re-growth will occur after this period, only with hair follicles not in the Anagen growth phase during previous treatments. Shaving is recommended between treatments which are approximately 6-8 weeks apart. After each treatment your skin may be slightly irritated, and very sensitive to any type of sun exposure, natural or otherwise. Be sure to avoid any exposure for at least a 2 week period, and wear sunscreen SPF 30 or higher on treated areas
